NOTICES / WEEKLY SCORES

Macintosh / King's 2024
Bcrc only had one enterant in the Macintosh BUT that one enterant SEB decided to show his true form and win ! What a fantastic effort. Seb only dropped one point in two days of shooting and that was in very tough condtions at 800m! keep up the good work SEB during the King's.
For all those other BCRC members who are shooting in the King's Good luck... Head down, bum up and shoot straight !
The King's 2024 was a monumental event! The weather was hellish on the First Day with extreme wind and heat from the south west. All competitors found it tough! To make matters worse, two targets snapped off and needed hastely repairs, The 700m shoot was cancelled due to the target issues and the time delays! Day two was wet at times with very light misty rain on and off for most of the day, the temperature was very pleasant and shooters regained some health back. The wind again though was troublesome at times and some shooters failed while others succeeded! Day Three started with lighter winds from the south and cool conditions. Once the Sun got a hold of the day it got quite hot and the wind picked up and was causing shooters trouble again.
Well done to all BCRC members that competed and sorry to those that pulled out early ( I hope all is ok ).
Our Best preformer was SEB B with a great King's grand win and taking out the Macintosh in SPC !
Trent shot well in FTR .
Daniel S got into the Top Ten and showed a few noted shooters up in the process.
Please look in the opm section for any picts.

We are counting Morning and Afternoon shoots in our Club Chamionship. PLEASE make sure your Morning score is written down and take a picture of it and send it to Lydia . So she can enter it into the system. 👍. There will be NO double attempts at shooting a score. IF you shoot a morning score and then an arvo score, the morning score will count. There is nothing stopping a member from shooting in the morning and arvo. JUST the first scoring attempt will be counted. This is to limit unfair advantages with the conditions we experience at Anzac Rifle Range. Also there will be no fouling shots before a counting score. If you need to foul your barrel in the morning please do so on the paper target and not the ET you are going to shoot at. That goes for the Arvo too. When we shoot at 800m in the Afternoon and we are at 300 m in the morning the 300 m scores will not count towards the club championship.

Et's... There is now a seperate Master controller for the BUTTS in a black case. This should be plugged in first in the line of targets. It will allow any club to set up their targets and not rely on Concord rifle club who had their target as the master.
Next week we are at 700m ! IT IS GRADE DAY SO GET YOUR SELF READY ! ( no club scoring today ) we practice in the morning and start the grade shoot at 12noon.
Parallax Adjustment video. A good video to watch to help understand your scope.
